So that’s it for me doing daily derek fix, I just don’t have the attention span for it and it’s not very daily and it’s hard and stuff. Too much of a drive-by tumblerer these days anyway. So the wonderful derekjeter-thecaptain blog will take over, since that is actually a derek blog while this is not, even though it seems like it most of the time. If you need your fix give him a follow or check derek tags for the goods! There seems to be a lot of good derek and yankees stuff out there though, much better than last off season. A lot less negativity and calling dj a “money hungry idiot” and “old and fat”, which is why I started doing this last year to bring more positivity, or whatever ;) Okay, hope everyone had a happy nude year and take care!

Interviewer: It’s fun to watch you play with Robinson Cano. But to see you on the field it looks like you’ve formed a friendship. What kind of relationship do you have with him on and off the field?
Derek: I can’t stand Robbie…..Naw I’m just playin. It’s been fun to watch him since he came up. You know Robbie has improved year in and year out. Last year he got a lot of attention for the year he had at the plate and on the field. He’s improved a lot these past years. It’s been fun getting to know him and play with.
